Man taken into custody after stabbing incident in town

Authorities have taken a 36-year-old male into custody on suspicion of causing serious bodily injury following a stabbing. The attack reportedly occurred at 17:30 GMT at Atworth Close in Swindon's Penhill district.
The victim, a 39-year-old man, is receiving hospital treatment for significant injuries sustained in the incident.
Chief Inspector Carly Nesbitt of Wiltshire Police stated that the police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the event to come forward, but reassured the public that there is "no believed ongoing threat."
