Authorities have taken four men into custody as part of an investigation into historical child sexual abuse claims in Bradford. The suspects, aged between 52 and 72, were apprehended at locations across Bradford and Leeds on accusations of rape, conspiracy to commit rape, and sexual assault.
The reported incidents allegedly took place in Bradford between 1992 and 1995, involving a single female victim, according to West Yorkshire Police. Following their arrests, all four men were questioned and subsequently released under strict bail conditions.
Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Greenbank emphasized that the protection and welfare of children remains a key priority for the police force. She stated, This investigation is part of our continuous efforts to pursue both recent and historical cases of sexual abuse against children. Such crimes are deeply disturbing and impact some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
