2 Fox News Hosts Argued Over the Definition of Female Attractiveness Following Sydney Sweeney's New Makeover, and It's Just as Disgusting as You Think

On Wednesday, Fox News personalities Jesse Watters and Katrina Campins engaged in a heated discussion about Sydney Sweeney, suggesting that her attractiveness increases because of her political alignment. The conversation arose after Sweeney showcased a new appearance while promoting her latest films, including the critically panned Christy and The Housemaid.

Watters opened the segment on Jesse Watters Primetime by referencing media commentary that described Sweeneys style as a Mar-a-Lago makeover, claiming it was causing a stir among liberals. He then introduced remarks from former MSNBC host Krystal Ball, who criticized Sweeney for seemingly courting right-wing, nationalist audiences, labeling the effort as both embarrassing and pathetic.

Campins, a Fox Business contributor, countered Balls criticism by praising Sweeney and linking her appeal to her Republican affiliation. Shes getting hotter, and they are so jealous, Campins asserted. All Republican women are hot. Tell me thats not true. Watters agreed, adding, So when you register Republican, you just get hotter.

Sweeneys rise in Hollywood has coincided with attention to her political stanceshe is reportedly a registered Republicanand has attracted public praise from former President Donald Trump for a jeans advertisement highlighting her blond hair and blue eyes. However, her career has also faced criticism, including from actor Ruby Rose, who condemned Sweeneys performance in Christy and disputed claims that the films failure was meant to serve audiences.

Rose wrote, For her PR to talk about it flopping and saying she did it for the people, none of the people want to see someone who hates them, parading around pretending to be us. She also directly criticized Sweeneys work, stating, Youre a cretin and you ruined the film. Christy deserved better.
