2025 Spotify Wrapped: Bad Bunny surpasses Taylor Swift as the top artist

Spotify has unveiled its much-anticipated Wrapped series, showcasing the years most-streamed artists, songs, and albums worldwide. In 2025, Bad Bunny emerged as the platforms leading artist, accumulating nearly 20 billion streams across the globe. This achievement surpasses Taylor Swift, who claimed the top spot last year with over 26.6 billion streams.

While Bad Bunny leads internationally, Taylor Swift retained her title as the most-streamed artist in the United States for 2025. Bad Bunny, set to headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LX in 2026, also saw his album Deb Tirar Ms Fotos recognized as the most-streamed album of the year. Following closely behind was the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, which secured the second position globally.

The distinction for the most-streamed single went to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars collaboration Die With a Smile, amassing 1.7 billion streams. Completing the top five songs were Billie Eilishs Birds of a Feather, Ros and Bruno Mars APT, Alex Warrens Ordinary, and Bad Bunnys DtMF.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 introduced nine new interactive features, including a tool that calculates a user's listening age and a feature offering insights from authors of a users favorite audiobooks.

In audiobook rankings, Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros claimed the top spot globally, overtaking last years leader, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. Meanwhile, The Joe Rogan Experience maintained its position as Spotifys most popular podcast worldwide for 2025.
