Bad Bunny Tops Spotify's Global Charts as Biggest Artist of 2025

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny has claimed the top position across Spotifys 2025 Wrapped Global Top Lists, according to exclusive data revealed today. He was named the Global Top Artist of 2025, leading a competitive field of international musicians.

Following Bad Bunny, the ranking of artists is as follows: Taylor Swift in second place, followed by The Weeknd, Drake, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Arijit Singh, and Fuerza Regida.

Bad Bunnys album DeB TiRAR MS FOToS, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year, has also been named Global Top Album of 2025. Other albums rounding out the top spots include KPop Demon Hunters (KPop Demon Hunters Cast, HUNTR/X, Saja Boys), HIT ME HARD AND SOFT (Billie Eilish), SOS Deluxe: LANA (SZA), and Short n Sweet (Sabrina Carpenter).

The Global Top Song of 2025 was awarded to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars moving collaboration Die with a Smile. The remaining top songs include Billie Eilishs Birds of a Feather, Ros and Bruno Mars APT, Alex Warrens Ordinary, and Bad Bunnys own track DtMF from his latest album.

In Latin music, Msica Mexicana continues to hold the top genre spot for the second year in a row, followed by reggaetn. Within Spotifys Top 10 Global Genres, reggaetn, urbano Latino, and Msica Mexicana ranked 5th, 6th, and 8th respectively. Salsa, merengue, and guaracha experienced notable growth in streams, both worldwide and in the U.S.

For the sixth consecutive year, Karol G was named the most-streamed female Latin artist in both the U.S. and globally, alongside Shakira, Kali Uchis, Emilia, Young Miko, and Maria Becerra.
