Bella Thorne Provides Update on Mark Emms' Wedding Plans Following Engagement

Bella Thorne is holding off on diving into wedding arrangements for now. Nearly two years after getting engaged to Mark Emms, the actress shared that their plans will move forward once their busy schedules settle down.

"We're focused on the movie we created together, which I wrote and directed," Bella told E! News during the Hollywood Reporter's Annual Women in Entertainment Gala on December 3. "After finishing this projectediting, press, everythingand then wrapping up Spring Breakers, we'll have the mental space to plan properly."

The 28-year-old has been concentrating on completing her film Color Your Hurt and the sequel to Spring Breakers. She emphasized, "Once those are done, we'll really be able to focus and do it right."

Although a wedding is not imminent, Bella reaffirmed her commitment to Mark by proposing to him in August, despite him having proposed a year prior. She shared, "We've been through so much, both joyful and challenging. Before filming, I wanted to reciprocate the love he showed me when he proposed. He was moved to tearsit was deeply touching."

Bella, who ended her previous engagement to Benjamin Mascolo in 2022, reflected on the significance of her gesture. "Its rare and special when it happens both ways," she explained. "It felt amazing to say, 'You chose me, and I choose you. This is mutual.'"

Mark, 46, also publicly celebrated their relationship with an art exhibit in October, featuring photographs of them together, including close-ups of Bella's nails. Bella responded on Instagram, praising the exhibit as "the most tender and beautiful way to show love" and noted the emotional impact it had on her.

While Bella and Mark's wedding plans are on hold, their bond remains strong, and they continue to celebrate their love in meaningful and creative ways.
