The nominees for the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards have been revealed, highlighting the standout films and television shows of 2026. Warner Bros Sinners leads the film nominations with 17, including Best Picture, Best Director for Ryan Coogler, and Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan. Following closely, Warner Bros One Battle After Another earned 14 nominations, with nods for Best Picture, Director Paul Thomas Anderson, and Actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Netflixs Frankenstein and Focus Features Hamnet both received 11 nominations and will compete in the Best Picture category alongside Focus Bugonia, Netflixs Jay Kelly and Train Dreams, A24s Marty Supreme, Neons Sentimental Value, and Universals Wicked: For Good.
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 4, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, airing live on E! and USA Network from 7-10 p.m. ET/PT. Chelsea Handler will return as host for the fourth time. This year, new categories have been added, including Casting/Ensemble, Stunts, and Variety Series awards.
