George Clooney Admits Teaching Child Inappropriate Phrase

George Clooney recently opened up about the challenges and comedy of balancing celebrity life with parenting, sharing a moment that left him nervously anticipating his wife Amals reaction. The Oscar-winning actor revealed that his 8-year-old daughter, Ella, has already started giving him eye rolls, showing early signs of typical kid sass. One recent car ride, however, reminded him just how attentive children can be.

Speaking on the Travis and Jason Kelces New Heights podcast on December 3, Clooney recounted a parenting incident that was both amusing and alarming. While driving Ella to school, another driver cut him off, prompting Clooney to exclaim a curse in frustration: Fking ahole! Moments later, he was surprised to hear Ella repeat the exact phrase from the backseat.

And you know theyre going to say that, and my wifes going to hear it, and then Im dead, Clooney admitted, laughing nervously. The 64-year-old star also spoke about the highs and lows of raising children, describing Ella and her twin brother Alexander as generally well-behaved, yet acknowledging that parenting is a constant balancing act.

Its a pretty funny adventure raising kids cause you dont realize how much theyre listening to you, Clooney shared, highlighting how even small moments can leave a lasting impression on little ones.

Clooney also touched on co-parenting with Amal while managing their demanding careers. You try to pace it so that Im doing it and then shes home, and then she goes, and Im home. We try to mix it up a little bit, he explained at the Los Angeles premiere of Jay Kelly. Despite the challenges, he clearly treasures these parenting experiences, from eye rolls to repeated curse words.

George and Amal Clooney, who married in Venice in 2014, keep much of their family life private. Amal, a prominent human rights lawyer, and George share twins Alexander and Ella, navigating the worlds of Hollywood and legal work while raising their children.
