George Clooney recently revealed how he pulled off a humorous stunt by pretending to be Brad Pitt, targeting one of Hollywood's most esteemed actresses. Speaking on the show New Heights, Clooney shared the full story behind the prank.

He explained that he sent a fake gift using Brad Pitts name, complete with personalized stationery, to actress Meryl Streep. Clooney recounted, I had Brad Pitt stationery that Kimmel gave me again I sent [Meryl Streep] a book of dialect CDs and I go, Dear Meryl, from Brad this guy helped me in my accent in the movie Troy, and I thought maybe you could use it. Remarkably, Streep only discovered the truth four years later when Clooney confessed in person.

This prank is just one example of Clooneys long history of playful tricks in Hollywood. On the same episode, he described other elaborate gags, including sending congratulatory notes to actors on fake Bill Clinton stationery for performances that were far from outstanding. These antics often targeted friends like Brad Pitt, highlighting their ongoing, friendly rivalry.

The New Heights episode featured Clooney alongside hosts Jason and Travis Kelce, where he also spoke about his close friendship with Pitt and confirmed that another Oceans movie is in the works. Clooney stated, Yeah, were scouting locations. Everythings been agreed to Weve got a really good script.
