The awards season is picking up momentum as the Golden Globe nominations are set to be revealed on Monday, December 8. The 83rd annual ceremony will be broadcast live on Sunday, January 11, 2026. CBS will air the three-hour event, famously called "Hollywood's Party of the Year," showcasing celebrities mingling and celebrating achievements in film and television. This year, the ceremony will also recognize popular podcasts.

The Golden Globes are widely regarded as a key indicator of potential Oscar success, with acceptance speeches often seen as a precursor to the Academy Awards.

Presenters for the Nominations

This year, the nominations will be presented by Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall. Wayans has achieved over $736 million in domestic box office revenue and more than $1 billion worldwide, currently performing on his Wild Child comedy tour. Marshall gained recognition starring opposite Kathy Bates in CBS drama series Matlock, portraying attorney Olympia Lawrence.

The full list of nominations across 28 categories will be revealed starting at 8:15 a.m. ET / 5:15 a.m. PT on CBSNews.com. Eleven exclusive categories will be announced at 8:30 a.m. ET / 5:30 a.m. PT on CBS Mornings. Golden Globes Ceremony Details

The 2026 Golden Globes will take place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, with a red carpet event preceding the main show. Nikki Glaser returns as host for the second consecutive year. The live broadcast begins at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and will also stream via Paramount+.

Glaser commented on her return, noting that hosting the show last year was the most fun of her career and expressed excitement to return for the 2026 ceremony.
