Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Her Kids' Reactions to Photos of Her Kissing Timothée Chalamet in “Marty Supreme”

Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her kids reactions to photos showing her kissing Timothe Chalamet while filming the upcoming movie Marty Supreme. The actress revealed that her two children responded very differently to the images.

Paltrow, 53, shares daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses, 19, with her ex-husband Chris Martin. She plays Chalamets love interest in the new film, and when pictures of them kissing on set in Central Park went viral last October, reactions were mixednot just online, but at home too.

My daughter is so laid-back and edgy, she said, Mom, this is amazing! Paltrow said. But my son was mortified and was like, Oh my God, I dont want to see this.

Despite their initial reactions, Paltrow believes both of her children are looking forward to watching the film now that they are older and can separate her on-screen persona from her role as their mom. She admitted they might cringe during make-out scenes but noted that they usually prefer seeing her at home rather than on the big screen.

After the photos circulated online, Paltrow shared that her friends and family reacted strongly. All my mom group texts went crazy, she said, recalling how her friends flooded her with messages after the images appeared publicly.

During a November appearance on The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon displayed one of the kissing photos, prompting Paltrow to comment on the challenge of filming intimate scenes under public scrutiny. Youre trying to have a private moment for a scene, and then the paparazzi are there, she explained.

Earlier in November, Paltrow also shared rare pictures with her son Moses on Instagram, showing them enjoying a night out together in New York City. She captioned one post about a weekend trip and dinner in NYC, highlighting her family time amid her busy schedule.
