Joe Jonas Acknowledges Familiarity with 'KPop Demon Hunters' Due to His Daughters

Joe Jonas has embraced fatherhood with style, crediting his daughters, Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, for opening his world to new experiences. The singer revealed that it was his little girls who got him hooked on the popular Netflix animation KPop Demon Hunters, showing that even celebrities can be fans of viral shows through their children.

In a conversation with PEOPLE alongside his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas, the trio discussed the lessons theyve learned from raising their daughters. Nick shares 3-year-old Malti Marie with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas, while Kevin has daughters Alena, 11, and Valentina, 9, with Danielle Jonas.

Ive learned a lot about princesses, Nick shared. Now were in the why stage of parenting, where every answer leads to another question. It really makes you think differently.

Joe, however, noted that his daughters are more fascinated by demon hunters than fairy tales. I know far more about KPop Demon Hunters than I ever imagined, he said. Being a dad has taught me so much. They dont follow a schedule or rush through life, and being fully present with them, ignoring phones and clocks, is the most important thing.

Kevin agreed, adding, Its about giving them time and being in the moment. Putting the phone down and focusing on now.

During the interview, Joe also spoke about co-parenting with his ex Sophie Turner. When asked what he hopes to instill in his daughters about love and relationships, he replied, I want them to enjoy being kids as long as possible. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and able to talk to me or their mom about anything.

He continued, I want them to see me as a friend, someone they can turn to for advice, watch movies with, and share their thoughts openly.

Reflecting on raising girls versus his own childhood with three brothers, Joe told the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast, Boys and girls are so different. Watching my daughters at play is delicate, while my sons used to dive off slides fearlessly.

Even so, he joked, Some of my boys enjoy KPop Demon Hunters too, so maybe theyre not that different after all.
