'Malcolm in the Middle: Life Is Still Unfair' set to be available on Hulu in 2026

Hulu has announced a four-part revival of the iconic series Malcolm in the Middle, scheduled to debut on the streaming platform in 2026. A brief teaser released on Friday showcased a back shave scene, paying tribute to one of the most memorable moments from the original pilot.

The upcoming series, titled Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair, will bring back Frankie Muniz as Malcolm. Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek are set to return as his parents, Hal and Lois. Additionally, Chris Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado will reprise their roles as Francis, Reese, and Piama.

New cast members joining the revival include Keeley Karsten, Vaughan Murrae, Kiana Madeira, and Caleb Ellsworth-Clark. The storyline focuses on Malcolm, who has spent years shielding himself and his daughter from his family. However, he is pulled back into their lives when Hal and Lois insist he attend their 40th wedding anniversary celebration.

A precise release date for Life's Still Unfair has not been revealed yet.
