Meet the Cast and Characters of 'The Abandons'

The new Netflix series The Abandons brings together two powerhouse actresses, Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson, portraying rival matriarchs in the Old West. One of them takes in children society has forsaken, raising them in a dangerous lifestyle. The other commands wealth, status, and a powerful family lineage. As tensions rise, the series explores whether heroes and villains are easily distinguishedor if everyone occupies a morally gray area.

The story unfolds in the Washington Territory of 1854, filled with crime, romance, hidden treasures, and secrets lurking in every dusty corner. And yeshorses play a significant role throughout.

Lena Headey as Fiona Nolan

Fiona Nolan, portrayed by Lena Headey, manages a cattle ranch and has created a makeshift family from abandoned young adults. Headey, widely recognized for her Emmy-nominated role as Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones, also starred in films such as Imagine Me & You, The Remains of the Day, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and 300.

Gillian Anderson as Constance Van Ness

Constance Van Ness leads a wealthy and influential family, her power stemming from the mining business. Her clan is united by blood, representing the structured counterpart to Fiona's nurturing approach. Anderson, celebrated for her iconic role as Scully in The X-Files, is a two-time Emmy winner with notable performances in The Crown, The Fall, Sex Education, and Hannibal.

Lucas Till as Garret Van Ness

Garret, the youngest Van Ness sibling, is the heir apparent. Till, previously known for portraying Havok in the X-Men films and leading the MacGyver reboot, also appeared in the Hannah Montana movie.

Aisling Franciosi as Trisha Van Ness

Trisha challenges her familys expectations and forms a connection with Elias, one of the "Abandoned." Franciosis past work includes The Fall, Game of Thrones, The Nightingale, The Last Voyage of the Demeter, and Twinless.

Nick Robinson as Elias Teller

Diana Silvers as Dahlia Teller

Dahlia, Elias sister, supports Fionas cause against the Van Ness family. Silvers is known for Space Force, Lonely Planet, Booksmart, and Ma.

Lamar Johnson as Albert Mason

Albert remains loyal to Fiona and her chosen family, protecting them when necessary. Johnson has appeared in The Last of Us, The Next Step, The Hate U Give, and Your Honor.

Natalia del Riego as Lilla Belle

Lilla Belle is the mysterious fourth member of Fiona's adopted family. Del Riegos credits include Hail Mary, Promised Land, NCIS: Los Angeles, and How To Get Away With Murder, as well as voice roles in The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Velma, and Gods of War: Ragnark.

Michiel Huisman as Roache

Roache is a wild card outlaw and hired hand. Huisman, who played Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones, also appeared in Orphan Black, The Haunting of Hill House, The Flight Attendant, The Age of Adeline, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, and Rebel Moon.

Michael Greyeyes as Jack Cree

Jack Cree serves as an enforcer for the Van Ness family. Greyeyes is known for Crazy Horse, The Meadowlark, Rutherford Falls, 1923, Fear the Walking Dead, Woman Walks Ahead, and Wild Indian.
