Natalya's Father, a WWE Hall of Famer, Gave a Kindergarten Class Some Comically Bad Advice

In 2025, WWE star Natalya Neidhart published her debut book, "The Last Hart Beating", sharing stories from her early life through her wrestling career. Many of these anecdotes feature her late father, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart.

During an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Natalya shared a particularly memorable story about her father visiting her kindergarten class. She recalled, My dad came to my kindergarten class. Everyone elses parents seemed normal, and then my dad shows upno shirt, sporting a fanny pack, a Rolex, Ray-Ban sunglasses, Air Jordans, sweat pouring off him, riding a Ninja motorcycle straight into the room.

Her classmates were instantly fascinated by The Anvil, whom Natalya compared to a member of ZZ Top due to his bearded and flamboyant appearance. Dressed in knee pads and spandex, Jim offered the young students some unconventional advice.

He said, School isnt important. Focus on sports, Natalya remembered. My kindergarten teacher tried to stop him, but he insisted. After that, he never returned to my class.

Natalya also highlighted her fathers impressive athletic background. Before wrestling professionally, Jim Neidhart excelled in shot put and played in the NFL after college. His wrestling career spanned roughly two decades, concluding mostly in 1998. Neidhart passed away in 2018 at age 63, leaving behind his wife and three daughters, including Natalya.
