'Really?!?': Prince Harry Mocks Donald Trump In Surprise Appearance on 'Colbert' Show

Prince Harry made an unexpected appearance on Wednesdays episode of The Late Show, playfully targeting Donald Trump over his apparent fascination with royal status. The cameo unfolded while host Stephen Colbert was joking about the holiday season and the unrealistic expectation some viewers have of meeting royalty in Christmas movies. Harry walked onto the stage as part of a comedic sketch, claiming he believed he was auditioning for a Hallmark holiday film.

Colbert asked why Harry wanted the role. Well, Americans love Christmas movies, and clearly you have a thing for royalty, so why not? Harry responded. Colbert countered, noting that not all Americans are fixated on monarchy.

Harry then took a playful jab at Trump: Really?!? I heard you elected a king. The audience reacted with audible gasps and mock boos, and Colbert admitted, Fair point.

Continuing the sketch, Harry joked about going to great lengths to secure a Hallmark role. Ill record a self-tape, Ill fly myself to an audition, he said, before ribbing Trump and companies that have aligned with him: Ill settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House all the things you people on TV do.

Colbert protested, Hey, hey, hey I didnt do any of those things. To which Harry deadpanned, Maybe thats why youre canceled, referencing CBS decision to end The Late Show in May 2026, officially cited as a financial move. The timing had raised eyebrows because it coincided with Paramount Global reaching a settlement with Trump while pursuing White House approval for a Skydance Media merger.
