Sydney Sweeney Stuns in Crystal-Covered Dress with New Hair Look at "The Housemaid" Screening.

Sydney Sweeney unveiled a chic blonde bob at the AFI Fest premiere of Christy in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 25. The actress, renowned for her signature blonde locks, revealed a new look with long, voluminous waves at the New York screening of The Housemaid on Tuesday, December 2, where she wore a custom Miu Miu gown.

At 28, Sweeney swapped her short bob for flowing waves while gracing the holiday-themed red carpet for the New York showing of The Housemaid. Fans may recall that she debuted the bright blonde bob over a month earlier at the AFI Fest premiere of the sports biopic Christy in Los Angeles.

In an interview clip shared by The Hollywood Reporter on TikTok, Sweeney admitted she was initially reluctant to cut her hair, describing it as a huge change. She explained, My long hair became my security blanket. I always wanted it down and wavy, but Im loving this. I feel like Im going to meet a new version of myself.

For the The Housemaid screening, Sweeney styled her long waves alongside a dazzling custom Miu Miu gown. The floor-length dress featured a plunging neckline and an empire waist accented with a bow. She completed her ensemble with a feather boa and sparkling diamond earrings.

The film, directed by Paul Feig and written by Rebecca Sonnenshine, is adapted from Freida McFaddens 2022 bestseller of the same name. It stars Sweeney as Millie, a young woman who takes a job as a housemaid for a wealthy couple, only to discover that Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar) harbor secrets far more perilous than her own.

The Housemaid is set to hit theaters on December 19, 2025.
