Taylor Swift's 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl", maintained the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for seven weeks, tying her earlier album "Red" for her fourth-longest run at the top. Her album "The Tortured Poets Department" still holds the record in her catalog with 17 weeks at No. 1.

Released on October 3, 2025, "The Life of a Showgirl" was co-written and co-produced with Max Martin and Shellback, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of the Eras Tour. It not only recorded the highest sales week in Swifts career but continued strong sales and streaming for almost two months.

After seven weeks, the album slipped to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, solidifying Swifts record-breaking presence among solo artists. Since the charts inception in 1956, only The Beatles have spent more weeks at No. 1.
