This Was Gwyneth Paltrow's Kids' Reaction to Timothee Chalamet's Kiss

Gwyneth Paltrow is set to appear alongside Timothe Chalamet in the upcoming film Marty Supreme. Last year, photos capturing a kiss between the two actors during filming circulated widely online, sparking diverse reactions from the public. However, it was Paltrows children, daughter Apple and son Moses, who had particularly distinct responses.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Paltrow discussed how her kids felt about the on-screen kiss. She described Apple, 21, as enthusiastic and supportive, saying, My daughters so cool and so punk rock that shes like, Mom, this is awesome!

Moses, 19, had a more hesitant response. Paltrow shared, And my son was like, Oh my God, I dont want to see this. He was kind of mortified. Despite their initial reactions, the actress believes her children are now old enough to appreciate the movie while understanding the distinction between reality and fiction. She noted, Theyre actually excited to see this film because now theyre grown up and they can make this separation.

The 53-year-old star also acknowledged that her children might still feel uncomfortable watching her in intimate scenes, adding, Theyll gag when Im having a make-out scene, of course. But its funny, they havent really seen me in movies. She further explained that Apple and Moses generally prefer to see her in her role as their mother rather than through the lens of her public persona.

Marty Supreme is a sports comedy-drama directed and produced by Josh Safdie. Chalamet portrays Marty Mauser, an aspiring ping pong champion, while Paltrow takes on the role of Kay Stone, a retired actress and socialite. The film is scheduled for release on Christmas.
