Donald Trump Caught Napping During Cabinet Meeting

During a recent Cabinet session, President Donald Trumps alertness became a topic of renewed discussion. The 79-year-old seemed to drift in and out of sleep multiple times while officials provided updates, sparking questions about his energy levels and daily habits.

Observers noted that Trump repeatedly struggled to stay awake throughout the meeting on Tuesday. Video analysis by The Washington Post revealed nine separate occasions where his eyes were closed or barely open, totaling nearly six minutes in a session that lasted two hours and 17 minutes.

This was not an isolated event. Less than a month earlier, on November 6, Trump appeared drowsy for almost 20 minutes during an Oval Office briefing.

The Cabinet meeting came after a night of heavy online activity. Between 10 p.m. and midnight, Trump shared or reposted nearly 150 items on Truth Social and returned online by 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

At the start of the meeting, Trump claimed, Right now, I think Im sharper than I was 25 years ago, while also taking a jab at former President Joe Biden, calling him Sleepy Joe. As Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed what he described as the most transformational year in American foreign policy since World War II, Trump leaned forward and briefly closed his eyes, even while topics of prior personal interest were addressed.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not confirm whether Trump had dozed off, emphasizing that he was listening attentively and running the entire meeting. She also pointed to his remarkable final answer in a press conference criticizing Somali migrants, calling it an epic moment.

Later on the same day, Trump appeared fully engaged during a 40-minute presentation of new Trump accounts. Senator Ted Cruz remarked, I dont think [Trump] sleeps at all.
