Enjoying it: JD Vance dismisses rumors about his marriage to Usha

Vice President JD Vance has addressed recent rumors about his marriage to Second Lady Usha Vance, following weeks of online speculation. In an interview with NBC News, Vance said, We actually find it kind of amusing when asked about media attention on Usha being seen without her wedding ring.

A spokesperson for Usha Vance told USA TODAY on November 21 that she is a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and sometimes forgets her ring. The Vances have three children: Ewan, 8, Vivek, 5, and Mirabel, 3.

During the interview, Vance described the media coverage as funny and said it was not difficult to handle. He recounted that Usha once again left her wedding ring behind after a shower, joking about potential social media reactions. And I was like, let them. Its not even worth running back upstairs. So we actually enjoy a little fun with it, he explained, reflecting on the viral social media attention.

Vance, married to Usha since 2014, emphasized the strength of their marriage. Our marriage is as strong as its ever been, and I think Ushas really embraced this role. Its been great to see her grow and evolve, he said, noting both the sacrifices and rewards of their life together.

The second lady sparked online speculation last month when she visited Camp Lejeune with First Lady Melania Trump without her wedding ring. Despite this, she has been photographed both with and without her ring on multiple occasions.

Vance also mentioned his romantic nature in a previous interview with USA TODAY, expressing admiration for couples in love and wishing them happiness, referencing pop star Taylor Swifts engagement as an example.

Throughout the speculation, both JD and Usha Vance have maintained their public appearances, continuing their work and engagements while addressing rumors with humor and openness.
