The anger reportedly escalated after he was seen dozing during a Cabinet meeting earlier this week, prompting comparisons to his predecessor, Joe Biden, who has been nicknamed "Sleepy Joe."

He is particularly sensitive to any indirect comparisons to Biden, a Trump advisor shared with Zeteo on Thursday. Especially when it comes from a journalist he already dislikes.

Observers have noted Trump appearing drowsy during Oval Office meetings and at public engagements. Despite these moments, the president is said to be even more irritated by controversies such as the Epstein files than by discussions of his health.

Concerns about Trumps condition have circulated since his campaign days, with reports suggesting difficulties recalling details of cognitive tests he previously claimed to have aced. In recent months, he has been seen with unusual hand discoloration, displays of confusion during high-stakes meetings, and a drooping expression at the September 11 ceremonies that some onlookers feared could indicate a stroke.

In October, Trump underwent MRI scans at Walter Reed Medical Center, commonly used to examine tumors, joint issues, and heart problems. Former White House doctors noted that his four-hour hospital visit was unusually long for MRI testing. Trump, however, insisted the results were perfect.

One adviser said that Trump expressed frustration with renewed media attention on his health, complaining that the press is back on this nonsense again.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has consistently dismissed these concerns. In a statement to Zeteo, she asserted that the president remains in excellent overall health, while criticizing media coverage of his aging.

President Trumps tireless work ethic, remarkable energy, and unmatched accessibility contrast sharply with the last four years, during which legacy media downplayed Joe Bidens mental and physical struggles, Leavitt said. The current wave of false stories about President Trump is another reason Americans trust in the media has hit a record low.
