Boy Comes Home from School to Discover Unthinkable Fighting Between Mom and Man

In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, authorities are investigating a fatal incident that occurred on November 25, involving a 31-year-old mother of three, Violette Pierre. Police report that Pierre was killed inside her family residence, allegedly by her partner, Rocheny Clerge, who was also found injured with a wound to his own neck.

According to reports, Pierre's 13-year-old son returned home from school to find both his mother and Clerge lying on the bathroom floor, bleeding. Court documents indicate that the boy ran out of the house in panic and alerted neighbors, describing the horrifying scene.

Responding officers discovered Pierre deceased at the scene, while Clerge was still alive. Police performed emergency measures, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators believe Clerge stabbed Pierre before attempting to harm himself, resulting in injuries to his own throat.

Authorities have charged Clerge with murder and possession of a weapon used in a crime. Police reports state that a knife, suspected to be the murder weapon, was found beside the couple in the bathroom.

The 13-year-old reportedly told police that his mother and Clerge fought all the time and had been arguing before he left for school. The boy also mentioned that Pierre had threatened to leave Clerge the night before the fatal attack. Home security footage shows the boy leaving for school around 8:30 a.m., while his uncle took his two younger siblings to school shortly after.

Video captured at the home shows the boy fleeing in distress upon discovering the scene. Clerge is currently in custody without bond and is scheduled for a preliminary court hearing on December 23.
