Authorities have reported the evacuation of a university building following a chemical spill. Firefighters from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that eight fire engines, along with specialized units, were dispatched to the Davy Building at the University of Plymouth.
Officials stated that all occupants of the building have been safely accounted for. Devon and Cornwall Police are supporting the fire service by managing traffic around the site.
The university has not yet released a statement regarding the incident.
