One person dead and two injured in e-bike accident

A tragic incident occurred on Rochdale Road in north Manchester on Tuesday evening, resulting in the death of an e-bike rider and serious injuries to two pedestrians.

The e-bike rider was declared dead at the scene, while the two pedestrians were rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

Roads affected by the incident, including Rochdale Road, Whitemoss Road, and Lionbrow Road, were temporarily closed for investigation and scene clearance. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that these roads have now reopened.
