Zoo hosts a special light show for children from hospice

A group of 200 guests enjoyed an early Christmas experience during a vibrant light and sound celebration at Chester Zoo. The families attending included many whose children receive essential support from charities that care for young people with life-limiting illnesses.

Among the organizations invited were Liverpool Zoe's Place, The Joshua Tree, and Hope House Hospice. One parent described the evening as nothing short of "magical."
