Alyssa Farah Griffin returned to her seat on The View after being absent from the show for three days due to illness. The conservative co-host rejoined the panel alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sarah Haines, and Sunny Hostin.

Before the days political discussion began, Goldberg welcomed Griffin back on air. The studio audience and fellow hosts responded with applause and visible excitement.

Thank you, I missed you all, Griffin said as she took her place at the table.

When asked how she was feeling, she explained that she had recovered but noted, Getting sick while youre pregnant is no joke.

Behar jokingly commented that there was no medication she could safely take, and Griffin agreed, saying, I cant take anything. She then reassured everyone by adding, But I feel great now. Im not contagious, and I really missed being here.

Behar also shared her excitement about Griffins pregnancy, mentioning that she enjoys when members of the shows team grow their families.

Griffin had missed the beginning of the week, including Mondays live broadcast following the Thanksgiving holiday. Earlier in the week, she explained on social media that she had come down with a stomach virus and was hoping to return soon.

Now six and a half months pregnant, Griffin used her experience to remind viewers to be cautious, especially during cold and flu season. She encouraged people to use hand sanitizer and stay home if they are feeling unwell.
