Criscilla Anderson, the dancer and reality TV personality known for her role on Netflixs Country Ever After, has passed away after a battle with colon cancer. She was 45 years old.

The news was shared by her photographer, Lindsey, on Instagram, including a heartfelt final statement from Anderson herself. Criscilla had been open about her diagnosis since 2018.

In her statement, she wrote: If youre reading this, Ive finally slipped into the arms of Jesus peacefully and surrounded by love. Please dont stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone Im Home.

She added a touching message for her children: My babies I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence thats me. Im still mothering you. Im still yours. #everybutterfly

Anderson and her family were featured in Country Ever After, which aired for one season in 2020. During filming, she was undergoing treatment for stage three colon cancer while raising her children and continuing her career as a dancer.

Her ex-husband, Coffey Anderson, honored her on Instagram, describing her as someone who defined strength and fighter like no other person on the planet. He added: Heaven gained a star today. We miss you already. Our hearts are shattered. Our minds are jumbled. Our lives will never be the same. The house is quieter because youre missing. The babies are resilient and strong as ever. We did good with them. So, dance your heart out on the beach in heaven.

Many celebrities, including Viola Davis, expressed their condolences. Davis commented on Coffey Andersons post, writing: Beautiful, fitting tribute. My heart and prayers are with you.
