George Clooney no longer fears humiliation

George Clooney has shared an honest perspective on how he has learned to manage failure and embarrassment throughout his acting career. Reflecting on his experiences, he emphasized the importance of accepting risks in order to thrive in the entertainment world.

Discussing his journey, Clooney highlighted lessons from his early life and the challenges he encountered in Hollywood. He mentioned that observing his aunt, Rosemary Clooney, helped him understand the pressures of fame. She achieved widespread recognition at the age of 16, appearing on the cover of Time magazine, yet faced difficulties when her career momentum changed.

He explained, She gained fame so young, and it was enormous. She was on Time magazines cover and believed all the praise. But when the industry shifted, she wasnt ready. If you accept the first part, you have to accept the second.

Before landing his role on ER, Clooney spent years navigating auditions and setbacks. He reflected, Acting comes with failure. Thats the risk. Success is rewarding because you take that chance and face potential embarrassment.

Recalling his experience with the 1997 film Batman & Robin, Clooney described it as a pivotal learning moment. In an interview, he stated, The lessons came from failing, not succeeding. You learn, adapt, and grow from those experiences.

Clooneys newest movie, Jay Kelly, co-starring Adam Sandler, began streaming on Netflix on December 5.
