Kim Matula & Alex FitzAlan Join Cast for Season 2 of ‘The Hunting Wives’

Netflix is bringing back the glamorous and scandalous world of The Hunting Wives for a second season, promising more intrigue and drama among the affluent women of Maple Brook. Based on May Cobbs bestselling novel, the series chronicles Sophie ONeil (Brittany Snow) as she navigates the treacherous social waters of a wealthy Texas suburb, under the watchful eye of the magnetic Margo Banks (Malin kerman).

Season 2 was confirmed in September, with Netflix teasing fans to pack their boots and load their guns for the return to Maple Brook. By November, production officially began, with the series sharing a playful promotional image featuring Margo, Sophie, and Margos iconic wig.

December brought the announcement of two new recurring cast members joining the Wives: Kim Matula as Nadia Kelly and Alex FitzAlan as Lincoln Trout.

Cast and Characters Returning

Returning stars for Season 2 include Brittany Snow, Malin kerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, and George Ferrier. Series regulars Karen Rodriguez (Deputy Salazar) and Hunter Emery (Deputy Flynn) will also reprise their roles, alongside guest star Branton Box (Sheriff Johnny).

Season 1 Recap

Sophie relocates to a wealthy East Texas suburb for her husband Grahams job and quickly becomes entwined with Margo, the glamorous wife of his boss, Jed. Sophie is drawn into Margos world of luxury, scandal, and manipulation. The season escalates when Margos risky affairs and a secret abortion result in the murder of Abby, a teenager threatening to expose her, with Sophie framed for the crime.

The season concludes with Sophie committing another violent act in retaliation against Margos brother, leaving her fully embroiled in the dangerous life she has entered. Margo ends up isolated, and several characters have met tragic ends, setting the stage for the next chapter.

Season 2 Plot

The official description for Season 2 teases that Sophie and Margo are initially at odds, but past secrets and new adversaries will draw them back into a tense alliance. The season will explore who will emerge as the hunters and who will become the hunted, with all-new twists and suspense.

Episodes and Release
