The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television and was co-created and executive produced by Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco. Following Wills divorce, the two reconnect, forming a renewed platonic friendship as Sylvia navigates life with her now-older children.

Wills peculiar habits, including toppling e-scooters and delivery robots around Los Angeles, add comedic flair to their story.

The supporting cast includes Carla Gallo as Sylvias friend Katie, with guest appearances by Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Milo Manheim.
