Kyle Richards provides rare update on her dating life following shocking revelation about her sexuality at BravoCon

Kyle Richards shared a rare glimpse into her romantic life just weeks after making a notable revelation about her sexuality at BravoCon. When asked about dating on Live with Kelly and Mark on Monday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star emphasized that she is not someone whos going to be on a dating app, joking, Thats not my style.

At 56, Richards explained that she prefers a more traditional approach, quipping, They have to come knock on my door. I guess Im not going out. She noted that her focus has been on work and helping organize her daughter Alexias September wedding to Jake Zingerman. Im fine, she said, adding that after splitting from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky, her biggest fear was being by myself.

Reflecting on her journey, Richards admitted she once struggled to even say the word single because her identity revolved around being a wife and mother. Over time, she has found herself actually pretty good at enjoying her own company. Richards and Umansky, 55, separated in the summer of 2023, though they have not yet filed for divorce. Meanwhile, Umansky has been linked to several women, including recent public displays of affection with FBoy Island star Celisa CJ Franco.

Romance rumors also swirled around Richards in 2023, particularly with singer Morgan Wade, though she clarified they are very close friends. At BravoCon, a Season 15 RHOBH trailer featured her hinting at being bisexual, saying, I could go Brad [Pitt], I could go Angelina [Jolie]. She explained to Variety that the comment was meant to amuse her co-stars and that she avoids strict labels, though she is open to possibilities. I am growing and evolving, and my mind has opened up. So I dont know what the future holds now, and Im fine with that, Richards said. When asked about dating women, she replied, Ha! That would never have crossed my mind before and now Im like, thats totally an option. Im just here to see what life brings me, honestly.

Kyle also expressed that she does not want to be set up with anyone, saying, Whatever happens, happens, and Im good with that. I like hanging out with myself alone too. She described Umansky as her type: tall, dark and handsome. The couple married in 1996, four years after Richards first marriage ended.
