Nicole Kidman Feels Conflicted About Celebrating Holidays With Keith Urban: 'It's All Very Raw'

Nicole Kidman is setting aside her lingering frustration with ex-husband Keith Urban to make sure their daughters experience a joyful holiday season with both parents present. At 58, Nicole is arranging plans for a Christmas gathering, which insiders describe as likely to be a deeply emotional reunion.

"Nicole feels a mix of emotions about being under the same roof with Keith again, but she is determined to make it happen for her daughters," shares a source familiar with the situation. The couple, both 58, share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

"The girls have had limited time with Keith over the past six months due to his touring schedule, while they traveled abroad with Nicole. They miss him greatly, and although theyve been trying to stay strong, Nicole understands their desire for a sense of normalcy," the insider explains. "She has made it her mission to provide them with that experience."

The children were reportedly surprised by their parents separation, having previously believed their marriage was stable, making the adjustment challenging. While Nicole would have preferred celebrating the holidays in Australia with her family, she has decided to remain in Nashville to accommodate Keith.

"Everyone who has recently seen Keith mentioned that he is having a difficult time," the source notes. "Nicole doesnt want him to feel isolated or to be separated from their daughters. Even though its painful for her, she is committed to organizing a family holiday."

Nicole has invited Keith to participate in their traditional holiday activities, while also asking other family members and friends to join as a support network. "Even with her loved ones around, Nicole will need great emotional control. Its still very raw for her, but she is ready to manage it because her daughters come first," says the insider.
