Report Finds No Video Evidence to Support Tara Reid’s Claims of Being Drugged

On November 23, Tara Reid was hospitalized after an incident at a Rosemont hotel. The actress, known for her role in American Pie, claimed that her drink had been spiked by an unknown individual.

After conducting an investigation, authorities have reportedly stated that there is no video evidence supporting Reids claims.

Police Statement on Surveillance Findings

The Rosemont Public Safety Department issued a statement on December 3 confirming that footage from the hotels security cameras did not show anyone tampering with Reids drink at the DoubleTree Chicago OHare Airport hotel.

While the surveillance recorded Tara Reid at the hotel bar, no video shows anyone adding anything to her drink, the statement read. We can confirm that a bartender covered her drink when she left the bar, which is standard procedure. However, we cannot verify at this time what chemical tests the hospital may have performed.

The authorities added that Reid is still collaborating with police to obtain those medical records. Pending the results or any new information, our detectives will follow up as necessary. Currently, no criminal offense has been identified, and no suspect is under investigation, the statement clarified.

The police emphasized, Although there is no evidence that a drink was tampered with, it is a reminder to never leave beverages unattended. If you feel unsafe or suspect drugging, contact local authorities immediately.

Hotel Response

The DoubleTree Chicago OHare Airport also commented on the situation, stating that their security team promptly assisted Reid and arranged medical care. The safety and well-being of our guests and staff is our top priority, the hotel stated.
