Police say CCTV footage does not show evidence of Tara Reid being 'drugged' at hotel

Local authorities in Illinois have stated that there is no evidence indicating actress Tara Reid was drugged while visiting a hotel in Chicago. According to police, surveillance footage from the hotels bar area did not reveal any sign of interference with her drink.

The 50-year-old actress was captured in a video on November 23 being escorted out of the DoubleTree hotel near Chicago OHare Airport. In the clip, she appears unsteady and speaks with slurred words before being placed in a wheelchair and taken away.

After reviewing the camera recordings, police confirmed that no individual was seen placing anything into Reids beverage. Investigators also observed a bartender covering the drink when she stepped away from the bar, a routine precaution in the hospitality industry.

Authorities are continuing efforts to obtain the results of any medical or toxicology tests that may have been performed by the hospital where Reid was taken. Until new information is provided, law enforcement officials say there is no reason to believe a crime occurred, and no suspects are currently being examined.

According to an official report, Reid explained that she lost consciousness after ordering a glass of wine. She recalled a brief conversation with a man who claimed to be a YouTuber, during which they exchanged phone numbers. She then briefly left the bar with him to smoke, and upon returning, noticed a napkin resting over her glass.

Reid later traveled back to her home in Los Angeles following her hospital visit. After learning that a police report could not be initiated in California regarding an incident that occurred in another state, she returned to Illinois to speak with local authorities.

In a personal statement, the actress expressed concern over the situation, describing the experience as frightening and emotionally distressing. She said the idea of losing eight hours of memory after a single drink was alarming and claimed the situation has had a serious impact on her mental well-being.

I dont remember anything after that one drink. Waking up in a hospital the next day was terrifying, she stated, adding that she believes something unusual happened to her that night.
