Robyn Brown of Sister Wives Gets Emotional Discussing the Possibility of an Ex-Wife Returning to the Family: 'Hope Is Dangerous'

Robyn Brown, known from Sister Wives, has consistently expressed her commitment to polygamy, yet the reality TV personality appears hesitant about the idea of a previous sister wife rejoining the family.

During a confessional preview for the upcoming Sunday, December 7 episode, Robyn, 47, was asked, How would you respond if a former wife wanted to come back? She looked taken aback and repeated, Come back to the family?

After pausing for several seconds and visibly shaking her head, she added, I mean, really? What would that even mean? She then chuckled nervously, saying, Honestly, Im not sure I can even answer that, while continuing to shake her head in disbelief.

The episode also features Kody Brown, who is currently on what has been dubbed his Apology Tour, meeting with ex-wife Janelle Brown. Robyn admitted, This makes me so emotional because it opens up a little window of hope, and I wasnt prepared for that. Now Im thinking, What if? I cant go there, I have to step back or Ill fall apart, and I cant handle it on set.

Fans of the show have seen Kody, 56, separate from three of his four wives over the past few years. Christine Brown was the first to leave in November 2021, followed by Janelle in December 2022 and Meri Brown in January 2023.

Robyn reflected on the situation, saying, Sometimes hope can be dangerous.

The Apology Tour continues on the show, with Christine Brown appearing on the December 14 episode and Meri Brown on December 28.
