The iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting, a hallmark of the holiday season, was broadcast live on NBC and Peacock Wednesday evening, featuring performances by Brad Paisley, Laufey, and Michael Bubl. Country music legend Reba McEntire hosted the event, joined by NBC "TODAY" anchors Craig Melvin, Al Roker, and Savannah Guthrie.
The centerpiece of the celebration was a majestic 75-foot Norway Spruce from East Greenbush, New York, adorned with 50,000 LED lights and crowned with a sparkling Swarovski star.
