Paramount+'s hit series Landman has already earned an early renewal for its third season, just a few episodes into its current 2025 run. Following the massive success of its first season, the show continues to capture audiences, making the extension a natural move.

The cast and creative team have openly shared their excitement about the series' future, reflecting on how long the story could continue. Season 2 premiered to record-breaking numbers, reportedly becoming the largest season or series debut in Paramount+ history. Early reports indicate it tripled the viewership of Season 1s premiere, accumulating over 9 million global views.

Showrunner Christian Wallace emphasized that the story is far from fully explored: We barely scratched the surface in season one, and even after season two, theres still so much more to explore. With major new developments already unfolding in Season 2, including Andy Garcias impactful arrival and Demi Moores character Cami expanding her storyline, the narrative stakes are higher than ever.

Wallace highlighted the richness of the show's setting and characters as key to its longevity: West Texas, oil and gas, Fort Worth its fertile ground for storytelling. Our cast has added depth to the characters, making it easy to keep the story engaging. He also expressed interest in bringing other notable actors from the Taylor Sheridan universe, such as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, into the series.
