‘Landman’ Gets Greenlit for Season 3 on Paramount+

Following strong viewership, Paramount+ has confirmed that Taylor Sheridans acclaimed oil industry drama, Landman, will return for a third season. The show is set against the backdrop of West Texas boomtowns and explores the pursuit of wealth amid the oil rigs.

Inspired by the 11-part podcast Boomtown, Landman presents a contemporary narrative of the power struggles between hard-working roughnecks and ambitious wildcat billionaires, whose endeavors are transforming the climate, economy, and global politics.

Season 2 saw tensions escalate as Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) grapples with pressures from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and family dynamics, revealing that survival in West Texas demands harsh choices. Secrets and rivalries rise alongside the oil, hinting at a breaking point for those involved.

The series, co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, also features Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, and Sam Elliott in leading roles. Supporting cast members include Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chvez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

Landman is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Christian Wallace, Billy Bob Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, and Stephen Kay. Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch of Imperative Entertainment, along with J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt of Texas Monthly, also serve as executive producers, while Tommy Turtle is a co-executive producer. The production companies behind the series are Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridans Bosque Ranch Productions.
