Trump Describes Receiving 'FIFA Peace Prize' as 'One of the Greatest Honors of My Life'

On Friday, President Donald Trump described being awarded the FIFA Peace Prize as one of the great honors of my life. The ceremony took place at The Kennedy Center during the World Cup draw, where FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the newly established award.

The FIFA Peace Prize was created to recognize exceptional actions for peace and unity. In his remarks, Infantino commended Trump for his involvement in negotiating resolutions to several international conflicts. Trump has frequently stated that he ended at least eight wars during his second term.

Despite speculation from Trump and his supporters, he has not received the Nobel Peace Prize. Speaking after accepting the FIFA award, Trump emphasized the significance of the peace efforts, saying:

"This is truly one of the great honors of my life. Beyond awards, Gianni and I were discussing the lives saved millions of them. For example, in the Congo, where over 10 million had died and millions more were at risk, we were able to prevent further tragedy. Similar efforts in India, Pakistan, and other conflicts helped avert wars, sometimes just before they were about to begin. Its an honor to share this moment with Gianni."

The presentation highlighted Trumps claimed diplomatic successes and celebrated FIFAs initiative to honor global peace contributions.
