Trump's Swollen Hand After Injury

During Fridays 2026 FIFA World Cup draw, President Donald Trumps right hand, still marked by a persistent bruise, was clearly visible as he extended it to shake hands with FIFA President Gianni Infantino while receiving a so-called peace prize. Beyond the familiar bandage covering the injury, the hand appeared noticeably swollen, possibly exaggerated by lighting.

Earlier in the week, the 79-year-old president was seen at a Cabinet meeting with two sizable Band-Aids on his right hand and seemed to nod off briefly during the session.

Back in February, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed questions about the bruise, attributing it to Trumps busy schedule. President Trump has bruises on his hand because hes constantly working and shaking hands all day, every day, Leavitt explained at the time.
