NFL Announces Surprising News about Travis Kelce on Monday

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs fell short on Thanksgiving, slipping to a 6-6 record in the 2025 NFL season after a 31-28 loss to Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. Kelce contributed with five receptions for 45 yards, including a two-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes.

Over 12 games this season, Kelce has continued to be Mahomes primary target, tallying 59 catches for 719 yards and five touchdowns. Remarkably, he is on track to surpass his 2024 totals, when he finished with 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns.

Despite the team's challenges, Kelce remains one of the NFLs most recognizable players, boasting three Super Bowl wins in five appearances. His high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift adds to his public appeal. However, the leagues first fan voting results for the 2026 Pro Bowl, which makes up one-third of the overall vote alongside players and coaches, show Kelce ranked third among tight ends. Ahead of him are Arizona Cardinals Trey McBride and Indianapolis Colts rookie Tyler Warren.

Interestingly, even with his strong performance this season, Kelce had led Pro Bowl fan voting among tight ends last year, surpassing Las Vegas Raiders Brock Bowers.

"Patriots QB Drake Maye is the early leader in 2026 Pro Bowl Games votes on NFL.com and team websites," noted NFL Network's Tom Pelissero on X. "Fan voting began on Thursday, Nov. 27 and continues until Monday, Dec. 15. Heres the top 10 vote-getters by position as of 11 a.m. ET today."

Looking ahead, Kelce and the Chiefs will face the Houston Texans in Week 14 during "Sunday Night Football."
