A 78-year-old man has passed away after being rescued from a fire at his home, according to police reports.
Authorities from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed they were alerted to a fire at a property on Lorton Grove, Bolton, around 15:10 GMT on Friday. Emergency responders arrived promptly, and the man was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators do not suspect any foul play in the incident, and inquiries are continuing.
The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service stated that three fire crews from Bolton and Farnworth stations responded to the blaze at the terraced bungalow shortly before 15:00 GMT on Friday.
