Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice Speak Out About Missing Kate Middleton's Christmas Event

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice did not attend this years edition of Kate Middletons "Together at Christmas" carol service at Westminster Abbey, though they expressed their support online. On Instagram, Eugenie called the event "an incredible message of hope."

Despite the absence, both sisters are anticipated to take on expanded royal responsibilities, even after their father, former Prince Andrew, lost all royal titles and privileges in October. On Friday, Eugenie shared an Instagram Story, saying, Wish Bea and I could have joined the celebration tonight with our family. Wishing @princeandprincessofwales a wonderful evening at her remarkable carol service. What an amazing message of hope.

While no explanation was given for their absence, the princesses remain in favor with the royal family. Following the revocation of his titles, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor no longer retains privileges or his residence at Royal Lodge due to renewed scrutiny over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

According to sources cited by Vanity Fair, King Charles III is exploring the possibility of giving Eugenie and Beatrice more prominent royal duties. One insider noted, Despite the circumstances surrounding Andrew, the girls are kind, diligent, and eager to contribute.

Recently, Eugenie was announced as a mentor for King Charles IIIs King's Foundation and attended a London reception for young adults under 35. A source at the event commented that she was thrilled to attend and proud to be chosen.

Meanwhile, Beatrice has been appointed Deputy Patron of The Outward Bound Trust, a charity focused on outdoor education, after previously serving as a trustee. Insiders mention that the King cares deeply for his nieces and does not want them to be affected by their fathers controversies.
