A key route has been cleared and reopened after a truck transporting a forklift became lodged under a railway bridge on Thursday morning. Authorities reported that the A4019 in Cheltenham, close to Tewkesbury Road and High Street, was accessible again by Friday afternoon.
Images captured at the scene revealed the forklift tightly stuck beneath the bridge structure. Local officials confirmed that the railway bridge involved has also returned to normal operation, allowing both road and rail traffic to flow freely once more.
