Jana Kramer Reveals Jason Oppenheim from "Selling Sunset" Asked Her Out, Accuses Him of Flirting with Everyone

During the November 26 episode of her Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, Jana Kramer opened up about a memorable encounter with a guest who turned out to be unexpectedly flirty. The One Tree Hill star, 42, mentioned Jason Oppenheim, the Selling Sunset star and Oppenheim Group president, when asked about guests who had flirted on her show.

"Jason Oppenheim," Kramer said. "He flirts with everyone. I love you, Jason, but he flirts with everyone." She went on to call him a "sweetheart" before admitting, "But he did ask me out, that's true. See, I blanked that out."

Kramer emphasized that Oppenheim approached the situation with respect. "He is so respectful, that's the thing," she added. "Like we even had lunch with a friend I was introducing him to our realtor friend and he's such a sweet man."

Oppenheim had appeared on Kramers podcast back in May 2022, during which they discussed his past relationship with Selling Sunset co-star Chrishell Stause. Fans had followed their on-screen romance on Netflix, but the couple ended their relationship in December 2021 after five months of dating.

Currently, Oppenheim is in a relationship with Jessica Vargas, another O Group agent. The couple made their relationship public on the red carpet for The Accountant 2 in April 2025, and shortly after, shared Instagram photos of a desert hike together. Meanwhile, Stause has been dating Australian singer G Flip since 2022.

As for Kramer, she previously told PEOPLE that she prefers keeping her personal life private, especially regarding her marriage to Allan Russell. "I'm definitely an oversharer, but I think what I've learned differently, this go around, especially with our relationship, we're not as open as I would open up previously," she explained. "I think it's important to not share so much, so I've learned the lesson with that, to let some of our private life be private."

Kramer and Russell married in July 2024, after welcoming their first child, son Roman, in November 2023. Kramer was previously married to Mike Caussin from 2015 to 2021, with whom she shares two children: daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6.
