Julia Roberts seeks support from 'Oceans' co-stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney following disappointing film reception

Following the disappointing reception of her most recent movie, Julia Roberts has leaned on longtime friends and former co-stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt to help rejuvenate her career. The 58-year-old actress, mother of three, had hoped for her second Oscar with the drama After the Hunt, but critics were harsh and audiences largely stayed away.

Sources reveal that Roberts is now turning to her friends by joining the anticipated sequel to the Oceans series. In the earlier filmsOceans Eleven (2001) and Oceans Twelve (2004)she portrayed Tess Ocean, the ex-wife and later wife of George Clooneys character, Danny Ocean.

Roberts also reunited with Clooney as his ex-wife in the 2022 romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise, which proved to be a significant box office success. An insider explained, The upcoming Oceans installment aims to be crowd-pleasing entertainment while also holding personal significance for Julia.

Julia is selective about whom she trusts, but she has a strong bond with George and Brad. They consistently offer support, praise her, and treat her like Hollywood royalty, the source continued. After the disappointment of After the Hunt, she naturally seeks out people who can bolster her confidence.

Roberts reportedly enjoys spending time with Clooney and Pitt, both on and off set, finding comfort and camaraderie in their decades-long friendship.
