‘The View’: Sara Haines Censored Talking About Trump – Here’s What She Said

On the December 3 episode of The View, it was Sara Haines who experienced the bleep censor, rather than the usual slip-ups by Whoopi Goldberg. The discussion focused on Donald Trumps recent cabinet meeting and his remarks about Somali immigrants in Minnesota, claiming they cost the state billions of dollars and labeling them as garbage who do nothing but b****.

Whoopi Goldberg repeated Trumps comments without censorship, stating, Its funny about b***ing. People should always look in the mirror when theyre talking about that. She then questioned whether Trumps strategy of demonizing immigrants would continue to resonate with the public.

Joy Behar responded, highlighting Trumps pattern: Whenever his approval dips, no matter how much praise he gets from his cabinet, he tends to play the race card. Previously, it was Haitians, and now its Somalis in Minnesota.

Haines added, The problem is how he handles it. There was a legitimate issuethis was identified as the top fraud scheme during the pandemic, targeting programs meant to feed children. Fifty-nine people were convicted, involving over $1 billion. Thats significant. Its not about the Somali community, its about those convicted making poor choices. You cant generalize, but because of how he frames it, it now seems like all Somalis are at fault Her comment was cut off by the bleep censor.

Haines then apologized to executive producer Brian Teta, clarifying, I was quoting [Trump]. Ana Navarro added, He repeats this pattern, often targeting immigrant communities from poorer, predominantly Black or brown countries. Ive never heard him single out Italian or Russian mafia groups.

Navarro concluded with a laugh, agreeing with the point she had just made.
