Alyssa Farah Griffin has not appeared on The View throughout the week. On Wednesday, December 3, cohost Whoopi Goldberg addressed her absence. Alyssa is out sick. We hope she recovers soon, Goldberg said, explaining that Griffin has been feeling unwell.

Griffin was also missing from Mondays episode, which marked Goldbergs return as moderator after a two-week break. Goldberg commented, Alyssa is out today and I am back today, without providing further details. She was additionally absent on Tuesday, though the show did not mention it during the broadcast. Her exact return date remains uncertain.

Despite missing the episodes, Griffin has stayed active online. On her X account (formerly Twitter), she engaged with discussions about Pete Hegseth and the controversial strikes on Venezuelan boaters accused of drug trafficking, reposting a message defending the admiral linked to the incident. Her cohosts talked about this topic on Tuesdays show.

Griffin, who is seven months pregnant with her husband Justin Griffin, serves as the shows conservative voice. She previously shared her fertility struggles before announcing her pregnancy live in October. Baby Boy Griffin arrives this February. Im so glad to not have to hide it anymore. I can breathe, she said on air. Recently, she posted a photo with her husband on Instagram captioned, Grateful for our growing family.

She had also missed the November 5 episode, the day following nationwide elections in which several prominent Republican candidates were defeated.
