Democratic Representative Shares with Andy Cohen the Ideal Role for Marjorie Taylor Greene

California Representative Robert Garcia proposed that Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene would thrive as a reality television personality. He shared his perspective during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen, known for producing the Real Housewives franchise.

During the show, Garcia responded to a viewer's inquiry about which politician could become a "Bravolebrity," a term for public figures gaining fame through Bravo reality programming.

The politician I would most like to see on television, even though I see her daily in Congress, is Marjorie Taylor Greene, Garcia explained. Her recent shifts in political positions could make for intriguing viewing.

Greene is set to leave Congress in early January following her resignation, which followed disagreements with former President Donald Trump and a notable departure from far-right GOP stances. She publicly called for the release of Jeffrey Epstein documents and supported Democrats on maintaining affordable healthcare access during government shutdown discussions.

Cohen asked Garcia about Greenes transformation. While her past statements and actions have been deeply concerning, I believe people can change. If she genuinely seeks to become kinder and more considerate, she deserves the opportunity to do so, Garcia said.

Greenes history includes opposing abortion rights, disputing the 2020 election results, downplaying the January 6 riot, and promoting conspiracy theories, actions that once led to her losing committee positions. Despite this, Garcia noted that such dramatic shifts could create engaging content for reality TV audiences.

Additionally, Garcia was asked which reality star would excel in politics. He named Heather Gay from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, praising her ability to cooperate effectively with others.
